2. CFDs and Leverage Risk
CFDs are leveraged products. Leverage allows you to control a position larger than your deposited margin, which magnifies both potential profits and potential losses. A small adverse price movement can result in losses significantly greater than your initial margin, potentially exceeding your total account balance.
Fynexamp offers leverage up to 1:500 depending on account type and instrument. Higher leverage ratios carry substantially higher risk. You should only use leverage levels you fully understand and are comfortable managing.
3. Market Volatility Risk
Financial markets are subject to sudden and severe price movements driven by economic data releases, central bank announcements, geopolitical events, and unforeseen market disruptions. During high-volatility periods, spreads may widen, slippage may occur, and stop-loss orders may be executed at prices materially different from their specified levels (gap risk).
4. Currency Risk
If you hold positions denominated in a currency other than your account base currency, fluctuations in exchange rates will affect the value of your positions and any realised profit or loss when converted back to your base currency. This adds an additional layer of risk beyond the underlying instrument's price movement.
5. Execution and Technology Risk
While Fynexamp employs high-availability infrastructure designed for rapid order execution, no system can guarantee uninterrupted service. Delays, platform outages, connectivity failures, or data feed interruptions may occur, particularly during periods of extreme market volatility. Fynexamp shall not be liable for losses arising from technical failures beyond our reasonable control.
6. Liquidity Risk
Certain instruments, particularly exotic currency pairs, small-cap equities, and less-traded cryptocurrency pairs, may experience reduced liquidity at certain times. In low-liquidity conditions it may be difficult to open or close positions at your desired price, and spreads may widen significantly.
